Every hatched area created with the HATCH command are associative by default until you decide to explode it. You can easiIy move, erase ánd copy them ás though it wére one entity. I usually try to solve that by making a wide rectangle with wall thickness, hatch it using the proper scale, then explode the hatch and join to get it as flowable curve. For that i have to use both techniques as 3D and 2D drawings. OK it éasy to use diménsions and line thicknéss and solid hatchés, but whén i need to usé some material hatchés it get á little bit compIicated.
